The pictures are worth every penny alone. The brief but interesting information about each creature is just perfect for a youngster. But the best is the end with the pictorial glossary and summary of information. What a treasure trove for kids who are totally transfixed by the deepwater and interesting sea creatures, like my grandson!! It will surely be read over and over...good thing the pages are good quality, too!
This book has beautiful photographs and provides interesting information about bioluminescence. Children will learn from it, but won't feel overwhelmed by information that either too technical or extensive. Great book!

A beautiful book that teaches our younger students what bioluminescent is all about. The photographs are amazing. After you read the book you must use a black light and share the book with them again. It is breathtaking.
